Support the Field Manager & Operations Safety Lead (OSL) in H3SE matters

Ensure operational safety, site compliance, and continuity of safety activities

Coordinate site H3SE supervisors across Ugandan operations

Oversee contractor safety compliance and contract management

Support H3SE management system development and alignment with project milestones

Provide advice on work permits, job risk assessments, safety training, and incident investigations

Track and report H3SE KPIs, statistics, and corrective actions

Lead safety culture initiatives, audits, inspections, and awareness campaigns

Support waste management, industrial hygiene, environmental audits, and food safety programs

Prepare H3SE reports (weekly, monthly, annual) for review and consolidation

Operate, inspect, and maintain field equipment in oil & gas operations.

Support commissioning, start-up, and safety compliance activities.

Monitor systems, report faults, and assist in corrective actions.

Maintain clear communication with teams and control room.

Keep accurate shift logs and update operational procedures.

Oversee pre-commissioning, commissioning, and testing of instrument systems/equipment.

Develop and implement Loop Testing programs, procedures, and loop folder documentation.

Liaise with vendors/suppliers for pre-commissioning, commissioning, and repair procedures.

Provide instrument input for schedules, work scopes, spares, consumables, and tools.

Coordinate with E&I subcontractors, Systems Completion Manager, and other disciplines.

Review and approve instrument content in commissioning dossiers.

Plan and execute daily activities per schedule and safety requirements.

Manage PTW issuance, safety analyses, and interface checks for leak tests.

Support SATs and initial start-up activities with vendors.

Operate and monitor plant systems via ICSS, ensuring optimal performance.

Execute start-up, shutdown, and emergency procedures.

Respond to alarms and process deviations.

Support commissioning, start-up, and system checks.

Troubleshoot faults, perform root cause analysis, and recommend improvements.

Maintain safety compliance and participate in risk assessments/drills.

Keep accurate logs and reports; ensure smooth shift handovers.

Update operational documentation and procedures.

Mentor junior operators and participate in training.

Lead safe, efficient well completions/interventions.

Drive performance improvement and cost reduction.

Ensure contract and regulatory compliance.

Act as main communication link with well sites.

Coordinate with service companies and conduct follow-up meetings.

Assist in risk assessments, HAZOPs, and rig inspections.

Support well design, troubleshooting, and program updates.

Ensure offshore personnel competence and regular safety meetings.

Collaborate in Well SOR preparation with relevant technical teams.

Provide geological interpretation support during drilling for safe, effective well delivery.

Maintain clear communication with all related teams.

Ensure quality and proper management of geological data with the Geoinformation team.

Integrate well results into reservoir models and adjust future well designs.

Prepare required geological documentation for Local Authorities.

Suggest improvements to team workflows.

Mentor junior geologists.

Contribute to geological work on non-operated assets.

Monitor geology-related studies from HQ Technical Line.
