SUMMARY: Evidence Action is seeking a Senior Associate, Innovation and Field Operations to oversee field pilots under the Safe Water Now Program in Uganda. The role focuses on managing field teams, executing pilot activities, and ensuring high-quality technical implementation and data collection.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Oversee implementation of field pilots, translating plans into operational activities
Supervise field technicians and ensure adherence to technical and testing protocols
Monitor pilot performance and recommend adjustments to devices and processes
Coordinate installations, retrofits, and configuration changes at pilot sites
Ensure accurate documentation of field data and operational learnings
Manage field logistics including equipment, materials, and transport

Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Water Sciences, Environmental or Applied Sciences, or related field
Minimum 4 years of experience in field operations, applied research, or technical program management
Experience supervising field teams and managing structured field activities
Background in WASH, water systems, or related technical fields (engineering preferred)
Hands-on experience with water infrastructure, device installation, or mechanical/plumbing systems
Strong communication, documentation skills, and valid motorcycle riding permit
