SUMMARY: Talisconsults is seeking a Programme Officer for a national non-governmental and non-profit organisation working in environmental sustainability and community livelihoods. The role focuses on environment and climate change programme support, research, policy engagement, coordination, and knowledge management.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Support the design, implementation, and monitoring of environment and climate change programmes.
Contribute to project concepts, briefs, technical documents, and analytical reports.
Provide technical input on environmental and natural resource management issues.
Support engagement with government, partners, and stakeholders in policy dialogue processes.
Coordinate programme activities, meetings, and stakeholder engagements.
Document best practices, lessons learned, and support knowledge-sharing initiatives.

Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Environmental and Natural Resources, Agriculture, Forestry, Food Science, or a related field.
Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience, including internships or graduate programmes.
Demonstrated research and analytical skills.
Basic understanding of the project cycle, including design, implementation, monitoring, and evaluation.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work effectively in teams and field settings, with strong organisational skills.
