SUMMARY: The African Development Bank is seeking a Program Coordinator to support implementation and management of the Ending School-Age Hunger in Africa (ESAH) Trust Fund. The role focuses on operational oversight, financial management, stakeholder coordination, reporting, resource mobilization, and support for school feeding and nutrition-focused programming.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Individual Consultant
Coordinate ESAH work planning and scheduling across Bank units and donor representatives.
Support development of nutrition-smart projects in priority countries in line with ESAH objectives and Bank strategies.
Coordinate budgeting, resource execution, and financial reporting in compliance with Bank procedures.
Drive partnerships, stakeholder engagement, fundraising, advocacy, and communication for the Trust Fund.
Coordinate preparation of monitoring reports, ad hoc reports, and other project documentation.
Convene stakeholder meetings and manage engagement between donors, project partners, and Bank teams.

Requirements
Master’s degree or equivalent in Agricultural Economics, Nutrition, Public Health, Food Systems, Agriculture, Agribusiness, Development Economics, Rural Development, Life Sciences, or a related field.
At least 10 years of development experience, including project management of school feeding programmes.
Experience with multilateral development institutions and project cycle management, policy, programming, and intersectoral nutrition integration.
Demonstrated experience in school-based or multisectoral programmes, partnerships, and evidence generation for programming and resource mobilization.
Experience in programme portfolio management, monitoring and evaluation, and agricultural or school-based nutrition programmes.
Full proficiency or working knowledge of English or French; bilingual ability is an advantage.
