SUMMARY: UNICEF is seeking a Planning & Monitoring Specialist to support nutrition programme planning, monitoring, and data systems in Moroto. The role focuses on monitoring systems, information management, reporting, programme data analysis, and accountability to affected communities.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Establish a Monitoring and Information Management Hub under the Chief Field Office.
Coordinate monitoring systems with UNICEF teams and implementing partners.
Support data collection, analysis, and reporting for programme planning and decision-making.
Provide inputs to management reports based on performance and management indicators.
Support quality assurance of data, reports, and communication materials.
Strengthen monitoring of UNICEF-supported supplies, services, and feedback mechanisms.

Requirements
Advanced university degree in statistics, monitoring, project management, or a related field.
At least 5 years of relevant experience in programme management, programme development, implementation, monitoring, evaluation, emergency programming, or related fields.
At least one instance of exposure to emergency programming, including preparedness planning.
Skills in programme planning, data collection, data analysis, partnerships, reporting, and statistics.
Fluency in English is required.
Knowledge of another UN language or a local language is desirable.
