SUMMARY: Bishop Stuart University is seeking a Lecturer in Mathematics to support teaching in the Department of Science Education. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Deliver high-quality instruction in mathematics courses.
Foster critical thinking, analytical skills, and quantitative literacy among students.
Teach undergraduate mathematics courses.
Use innovative teaching methods, including technology-enhanced learning and problem-based approaches.
Support student mentorship, inclusivity, and participation in STEM fields.
Report to the Head of Department, Science Education.

Requirements
Doctoral degree or master’s degree in Mathematics, Applied Mathematics, Statistics, or a closely related field.
At least 3 years of teaching experience for master’s degree holders.
Demonstrated competence in teaching undergraduate mathematics courses.
Strong communication skills and ability to explain complex concepts clearly.
Analytical mindset with proficiency in mathematical software/tools such as Python.
Commitment to Christian ethical principles.
