SUMMARY: MTN Uganda is seeking a Manager – Technical Operations & Delivery to lead technical operations and service delivery for Mobile Money platforms. The role focuses on platform stability, release and change management, API integrations, vendor delivery, compliance, incident management, and continuous improvement.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Ensure high availability and performance of Mobile Money platforms, APIs, and integrations.
Lead incident, problem, root-cause management, post-incident reviews, and preventive controls.
Govern release, deployment, change management, testing, rollout readiness, and operational sign-offs.
Oversee API platforms, third-party integrations, partner onboarding, and security controls.
Manage technology vendors, managed service partners, SLAs, escalations, and service performance.
Support governance, risk, compliance, audits, reporting, automation, and operational improvement.

Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
MBA or relevant postgraduate qualification is an added advantage.
At least 4 years’ experience in technical operations or service delivery.
At least 2 years’ experience in a leadership role.
Strong experience in FinTech, Mobile Money, Banking, or Telecom environments.
Hands-on exposure to ITSM/ITIL, APIs, integrations, cloud platforms, and vendor management
