SUMMARY: MTN Uganda is seeking a Manager – Fixed Broadband to lead sales and distribution channels for fixed broadband services across B2C and B2B markets. The role focuses on FTTH growth, channel management, partner onboarding, go-to-market planning, customer insights, and subscriber acquisition.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Create and manage sales and distribution channels for fixed broadband and FTTH services.

  • Drive FTTH growth targets, activations, subscriber growth, and RGS 30 and 90 FTTH subscribers.

  • Generate customer insights on home broadband needs, usage behaviour, customer journeys, and pain points.

  • Develop product and service propositions, pricing, channel plans, and go-to-market strategies.

  • Identify and onboard technical, content, distribution, freelancer, and outdoor solution partners.

  • Manage channel plans, partner performance, brand standards, stakeholder engagement, and compliance with MTN policies and regulatory requirements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Commerce, IT, or a related field.

  • Postgraduate qualification in a related field and professional sales certification is an added advantage.

  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in sales and distribution in a telecom company or service industry.

  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a supervisory role.

  • Good knowledge of sales, retail industry trends, and retail best practice.

  • Strong planning, people management, communication, presentation, analytical, strategic thinking, sales, and customer focus skills.
