Junior Consultant – DevSecOps / Software Release Management

SUMMARY: The organisation is seeking a Junior Consultant to support software release management and automated build and source code integration processes. The role focuses on source code maintenance, DevSecOps implementation, build and release automation, test automation, version control, and support to multiple development teams.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Administer and maintain GIT repositories, build systems, automation servers, and related scripts.
Manage source code integration, feature branches, release branches, versioning, patches, and deployments across environments.
Implement DevSecOps processes, including Azure Key Vault, package management, code analysis, security tasks, and pipeline coverage.
Automate builds, releases, and simple tasks using scripting languages.
Develop and execute automated tests, write manual test cases, and support testing activities.
Support development teams, contribute to IT process re-engineering, and participate in technology discussions and forums.

Requirements
Master’s degree or equivalent qualification in Engineering or Computer Science.
2 to 4 years of hands-on experience in DevSecOps.
Must be below 32 years of age.
Certification in at least one cloud platform such as Azure, AWS, or OCI is required.
Experience with GIT, software configuration management, CI/CD, build and release automation, branching, merging, tagging, and secure software development lifecycle tools.
Programming or scripting skills in languages such as Perl, Ruby, Python, or shell scripting; secure coding, OWASP, .NET, SharePoint, Eclipse, ALM, and test automation experience are added advantages.
