SUMMARY: UNDP is seeking an ICT & Digitalization Intern to support ICT services and digital transformation initiatives at the Uganda Country Office. The role focuses on help desk support, network and hardware assistance, document digitization, automation, AI exploration, and staff support on digital tools.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Provide first-line IT support to end users, including troubleshooting hardware, software, and account access issues.
Support installation and configuration of computers, printers, mobile devices, licensed software, and ICT equipment.
Assist with onsite and virtual event technical support, including Zoom, MS Teams, audio, video, and display systems.
Support network administration, Wi-Fi, LAN, VPN troubleshooting, and ICT asset record management.
Assist with document digitization, SharePoint migration, workflow automation, and digital tools adoption.
Support AI, automation, data analytics, and digital innovation initiatives through research, briefs, presentations, and project tracking.

Requirements
Currently enrolled in a Master’s degree, or graduated no longer than 1 year ago from a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree.
Field of study must be Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, or equivalent.
Knowledge of Microsoft Office productivity tools.
Knowledge of computer hardware, software installation, and troubleshooting.
Knowledge of emerging technologies such as AI and robotics is an added advantage.
Fluency in English is required.
