SUMMARY: Xclusive Uganda is seeking a Grower to support plant production under Xclusive Young Plants. The role focuses on growing strategies, plant health monitoring, pest and disease identification, planting protocols, resource use, and supervision of the growing team.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Monitor and implement plant growing strategies.
Carry out and analyse samples to support healthy plant growth.
Monitor radiation and identify pests and diseases in the greenhouse.
Ensure planting protocols and plant correction activities are followed on time.
Monitor resource use and report weights and shortages on time.
Coach and supervise the growing team, including sprayers, in-charges, and scouters.

Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Horticulture.
Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a related field.
Strong managerial skills.
Good communication, planning, and team organisation skills.
Ability to delegate and monitor work effectively.
Knowledge of greenhouse operations, plant health, and PPE use.
