SUMMARY: The Office of the Prime Minister is seeking a GIS and Remote Sensing Officer to support the Joint Project Implementation Unit for DRDIP II and NUSAF IV. The role focuses on GIS and remote sensing support for project planning, monitoring, evaluation, reporting, safeguards, and implementation management.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Support GIS and remote sensing functions within the Joint Project Implementation Unit.
Provide spatial data support for DRDIP II and NUSAF IV implementation activities.
Support project planning, coordination, monitoring, evaluation, and reporting.
Support mapping, data analysis, and documentation for project implementation.
Support safeguards compliance and project reporting in line with Government of Uganda and World Bank requirements.
Work with PIU and regional offices to support project implementation information needs.

Requirements
Bachelor’s degree.
At least 1 year of relevant work experience.
Ugandan citizenship.
