SUMMARY: Yalelo Uganda is seeking a Feed Logistics Supervisor to support feed logistics and lake-based operations. The role focuses on feed delivery coordination, boat and equipment scheduling, stock control, logistics reporting, and supervision of operational staff.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Plan weekly lake logistics, including cage movements, feed delivery, people, and platform movements.
Ensure accurate and timely delivery of feed to nursery and grow-out feed platforms and share dispatch ratio reports.
Coordinate feed warehouse activities, including housekeeping and stock take exercises.
Schedule maintenance and downtime for feed platforms, boats, and outboard equipment in coordination with Engineering.
Supervise logistics staff planning, including leave management for coxswains, boat operators, telehandler operators, and general workers.
Monitor and report on logistics efficiency, fuel consumption, downtime, discipline issues, and adherence to health and safety policies.

Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Fisheries and Aquaculture, or a related field.
Good planning skills.
Computer literacy, including Excel and Word.
Boat operation experience is an added advantage.
Physically fit and able to work outdoors and on water.
Good interpersonal skills and ability to work as part of a team.
