SUMMARY: Exim Bank is seeking a CBS Officer to support the bank’s core banking system under the Information Technology department. The role focuses on system monitoring, end-of-day processing, incident resolution, system upgrades, data integrity, and core banking system availability.
Perform daily end-of-day processes and ensure accurate business reports.
Monitor core banking system performance, database locks, user licences, system speeds, and application/webserver status.
Investigate and resolve CBS service desk incidents and requests within agreed timelines.
Support change control, system customisation documentation, upgrades, patches, and new product testing.
Manage disaster recovery and business continuity activities related to the core banking system.
Maintain system operations manuals, procedures, technical requirements, and reporting documentation.

Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or another IT-related field.
At least 3 years of experience supporting core banking applications.
Significant experience supporting databases, preferably Oracle and Microsoft SQL databases.
Technical training and basic knowledge of Linux system administration.
ITIL Foundation certificate in IT Service Management is an added advantage.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, teamwork, confidentiality, and decision-making skills.
