SUMMARY: Aldelia Global Manpower Uganda is seeking a Confirmed Wellsite Geologist to support geological operations for the Tilenga Project. The role focuses on well data quality control, geological hazard detection, reservoir evaluation, contractor supervision, sample management, reporting, and HSE compliance at the rig site.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Perform well data quality control, validation, and timely communication of key wellsite events.
Predict, evaluate, and report geological hazards including pressure, losses, caving, sticking, gas, and swelling clay risks.
Detect reservoirs and support quick-look evaluation of fluid content.
Supervise well data acquisition including mudlogging, LWD, electrical logging, coring, sampling, pressure measurements, and VSP.
Monitor contractor performance for mudlogging, MWD-LWD, wireline, and pipe-conveyed logging services.
Support sample labelling, conditioning, shipment, pre-job meetings, geological reporting, and HSE compliance.

Requirements
Minimum BSc Honours degree in Geology or another geosciences discipline.
Certification to work as an Operations Geologist, including IFP certification.
At least 5 years of experience in operations geology, petrophysics, onshore drilling, or related fields.
Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional rig site environment.
Excellent communication skills.
English is mandatory.
