SUMMARY: Spear Motors Limited is seeking a Parts Operations Supervisor to support day-to-day operations of the Parts Department in Kampala. The role focuses on workflow supervision, customer communication, parts coordination, stock monitoring, and service delivery improvement within the dealership environment.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Supervise daily Parts Department operations including inquiries, quotations, approvals, picking, dispatch, and customer updates.
Monitor team workflow, follow up pending approvals, delayed transactions, outstanding quotations, unresolved inquiries, and back orders.
Manage customer communication through telephone, WhatsApp, and other digital platforms and provide timely updates on parts availability, prices, lead times, and delivery status.
Review urgent workshop parts needs, customer escalations, stock movement, special orders, and operational concerns.
Ensure proper documentation of inquiries, quotations, approvals, orders, dispatch records, customer feedback, and operational reports.
Support team training, coaching, performance monitoring, and preparation of regular operational reports for management.

Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Automotive Engineering or other relevant field.
Diploma with strong and relevant practical experience in stores and inventory management is an added advantage.
At least 5 years of relevant experience in stores or parts operations, preferably in a reputable motor vehicle dealership or structured automotive environment.
Strong knowledge of motor vehicle spare parts, parts interpretation, and dealership parts operations.
Experience in genuine vehicle parts handling, workshop support, parts ordering, quotations, stock coordination, customer inquiries, and customer feedback.
Strong communication, coordination, and digital customer service skills; proficiency in Microsoft Office and dealership or ERP systems is an added advantage.
