Who Was Hiring? A sector-by-sector look at Uganda's STEM employers in Q2 2026

Like we always say, knowing which jobs are trending is one thing. Knowing who is actually behind those vacancies is another. Of the 673 STEM postings recorded in Q2 2026, 631 came from named, direct employers; the remaining 42 were placed by recruitment and staffing intermediaries on behalf of undisclosed clients, and are treated separately below. Across those 631 direct postings, 261 distinct organisations were hiring, but the distribution is far from even.
