Scanning the requirements and description text of all 673 Q2 2026 postings for named fields of study and experience thresholds gives a picture of what Uganda's STEM employers are actually asking for, as distinct from which categories they're hiring into. The two views don't always line up neatly.

The figures presented here reflect the listings on our platform during the April to June 2026 period. They are a market snapshot, not a comprehensive census, and the number of postings from any given organisation in any given quarter reflects their recruitment needs at that specific time.

Like we always say, knowing which jobs are trending is one thing. Knowing who is actually behind those vacancies is another. Of the 673 STEM postings recorded in Q2 2026, 631 came from named, direct employers; the remaining 42 were placed by recruitment and staffing intermediaries on behalf of undisclosed clients, and are treated separately below. Across those 631 direct postings, 261 distinct organisations were hiring, but the distribution is far from even.
