SUMMARY: The Telematics Officer is responsible for real-time GPS and telematics monitoring of the company’s truck fleet, including ordinary and reefer trucks. The role converts tracking, driver behavior, fuel, and temperature data into actionable reports that improve safety, reduce fuel losses, strengthen driver discipline, and support efficient fleet operations.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Monitor live GPS dashboards, track fleet movements, and escalate alerts including speeding, route deviations, geofence breaches, unauthorized stops, and reefer temperature excursions.

• Produce driver behavior reports and maintain scorecards covering speeding, harsh braking, harsh acceleration, idling, and seatbelt compliance.

• Verify completed trips against dispatch records, approved routes, and delivery schedules while managing geofence setup for depots, delivery points, fuel stations, and restricted areas.

• Monitor fuel telemetry, identify abnormal usage or theft indicators, and produce fuel variance reports.

• Ensure all telematics devices, GPS units, and sensors are operational, correctly assigned, and properly configured, including platform user access and alert settings.

• Prepare daily fleet status reports, weekly driver summaries, and monthly performance dashboards, and support accident investigations and driver coaching with telematics data.

SUMMARY: The Refrigeration Engineer is the senior technical lead for all refrigeration and cold-chain systems across the reefer truck fleet. The role is responsible for maintaining, repairing, and improving refrigeration units to ensure product quality, regulatory compliance, and uninterrupted cold-chain operations.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Design and manage preventive maintenance schedules for all refrigeration units

• Carry out servicing including refrigerant top-ups, compressor oil changes, coil cleaning, filter replacement, and controller calibration

• Diagnose and repair complex faults involving compressors, refrigerant leaks, electrical controls, sensors, expansion valves, and defrost systems

• Perform refrigerant recovery, recycling, and recharging in line with environmental regulations

• Ensure all reefer units maintain required chilled and frozen temperature ranges

• Work with remote monitoring and telematics systems to investigate temperature excursions and cold-chain failures

• Develop SOPs, inspection checklists, maintenance guides, and fault-finding procedures

• Provide technical input into procurement, replacement, and upgrade of refrigeration equipment

• Train and mentor technicians, drivers, and mechanics on refrigeration systems and safe refrigerant handling

• Maintain detailed service records, refrigerant logs, calibration certificates, and monthly performance reports

SUMMARY: The Maintenance Planner is responsible for developing and managing the entire maintenance planning system across the company’s fleet, refrigeration systems, electrical assets, workshops, and facilities. The role focuses on preventive maintenance scheduling, CMMS administration, shutdown planning, spare parts forecasting, and maintenance performance analysis.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Develop and maintain preventive maintenance schedules for all major assets

• Produce weekly and monthly maintenance plans and allocate work to technicians and engineers

• Coordinate vehicle and plant maintenance with operations to minimize downtime

• Manage the full work-order lifecycle within the CMMS

• Plan maintenance shutdowns, outages, and major service works

• Administer the CMMS, including asset registers, PM triggers, reports, and user access

• Forecast spare parts and material requirements and coordinate with procurement and stores

• Analyze maintenance data to improve reliability, reduce breakdowns, and optimize PM frequencies

• Track maintenance budgets, contractor performance, and maintenance KPIs

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Produce and update 2D/3D engineering drawings, P&IDs, schematics and plant layouts using CAD software

• Maintain drawing registers, revision control and the engineering document archive

• Conduct site measurements and prepare accurate as-built drawings

• Support maintenance and engineering projects with drawing packages, BOQs and technical documentation

• Ensure compliance with engineering standards and guide technicians on CAD and document practices
