SUMMARY: IsraAID is seeking a Senior Nutrition Officer to support implementation of community nutrition activities in Nakivale and Nyakabande. The role focuses on strategic oversight of CMAM services, capacity building, multi-sector coordination, data management, reporting, and nutrition program quality for refugees and host communities
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Provide strategic leadership and technical oversight for the CMAM continuum of care, including OTP, SFP, community outreach, and referral of complicated SAM cases.
Guide decentralisation of services through community clinics, outreach systems, schools, and Child-Friendly Spaces, while supporting integrated coordination across health, education, WASH, protection, and agriculture.
Assess staff capacity needs and design and implement training and mentorship plans, including Training of Trainers and integration of MIYCN and MAMI protocols.
Oversee use of standardized data collection tools, review performance indicators, and support corrective actions to improve nutrition outcomes.
Ensure timely and accurate reporting and monitor nutrition commodities, storage, and availability of specialized nutritious foods.
Support implementation of the Expanded Criteria strategy during supply disruptions or rapid response operations and participate in stakeholder meetings as required.

Requirements:
