• Conduct pre-start inspections of boilers, gauges, valves, fuel systems, pumps, piping, and work areas.

• Monitor steam pressure, water levels, fuel supply, combustion conditions, pumps, and alarm indicators.

• Record operating parameters, equipment hours, steam conditions, fuel consumption, and water use.

• Assist with boiler water sampling and water treatment procedures under supervision.

• Perform supervised maintenance tasks such as lubrication, cleaning strainers, minor component replacement, and pump inspection.

• Identify and escalate abnormal conditions and maintain awareness of emergency stops, alarms, isolation points, and evacuation procedures.

SUMMARY: Dalilang Foods and Beverages is seeking a Blow Molding Machine Operator to operate blow molding machinery and produce plastic bottles for packaging operations in Nakasongola. The role focuses on machine operation, preform feeding and heating, bottle quality testing, defect control, sanitation, and production records.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Operate blow molding machinery through start-up, production, changeover, and shutdown procedures.

• Load preform hoppers and monitor oven heating zones within authorized parameters.

• Conduct visual, dimensional, weight, and bottle drop tests to verify bottle quality.

• Identify, segregate, and record defective bottles before they reach filling lines.

• Perform mold cleaning, defect clearing, sanitation, and routine station maintenance.

• Record machine settings, test results, production volumes, and defect counts and follow safety requirements.
